We are currently recruiting for Shift Production Operatives.  Our Production Operatives are very important to the smooth running of the business ensuring our products are produced when they need to be, efficiently and on time. You will be an essential part of our manufacturing team and will be working on a variety of processes using automated machinery to produce our parts from foam and fibre.

A great Production Operative at Pritex will put safety above all else, work well within a team and be enthusiastic about the work they do.  As a quick learner, you will be flexible to work on different processes, take responsibility for the work you do and always show good attention to detail.

  • Production Experience
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety Requirements
  • Experience of working to high quality standards
  • Good level of numeracy, literacy, communication and It skills

Hours of work (Double Day weekly rotating shift (39 hours per week):

Monday – Thursday
Early Shift:  06.00 – 14.00
Late Shift: 14.00 – 22.00

Friday 
Early Shift: 06.00 – 12.00
Late Shift: 12.00 – 18.00

Annual pay £21,736.80 including shift premium

We are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer. Our Project Engineers play a key role in the business ensuring our products are developed in line with our customer requirements and are transferred into mainstream production within required timescales whilst maintaining high specifications.

Project Engineers at Pritex will understand our customer and business needs, work well within a team and be enthusiastic about the work they do. As a quick learner, you will be flexible to work on a variety of projects, take responsibility for the work you do and always show good attention to detail.

A typical day will involve:
• driving new projects from conception to completion
• discussions with our Business Development Managers and Production Team to ensure the business and our customer needs are clearly met
• general problem solving activities to support continual improvement efforts.
• Inputting information on our various customer’s quality part acceptance systems

To apply for our role ideally you will have; –
• an engineering based education or be able to show equivalent experience
• be computer literate
• be able to continually work to a high degree of accuracy
• an awareness of general problem solving methodology and techniques.
• experience of CAD systems, engineering drawings, tool design and project management

Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of automotive quality systems would be a strong advantage.
